Uniform: Dress Code
All dancers must wear their hair tied back off their face in a bun.
No jewellery allowed to be worn during classes due to health and safety reasons.
For classes our school tracksuits T-shirts and hoodies are available from the dance school and should be worn by all children when representing the school at external performance events.
CDA UNIFORM POLICY
As your child is starting dance classes, it is important that ALL dancers should be wearing the appropriate uniform to all dance classes. Dancers should be wearing the set uniform so that they are used to wearing the specific dance skirts and leotards in preparation for their exams. This is also vital for maintaining the professional standards set by CDA. Girls should NOT be wearing tutus or other skirts to lessons. This means that uniform purchased for the examinations is worn every week so that you get your money’s worth out of the clothing and dancers are prepared sufficiently for their exams. I must stress the importance of wearing the appropriate uniform, so that I can clearly see the posture and lines of the dancers’ legs, arms and back lines, and ensure that all exercises are performed correctly and safely. SHOES MUST BE WORN TO ALL CLASSES UNLESS STIPULATED BY THEIR CLASS TEACHER. All dancers must wear their hair in a bun for ALL CLASSES. No jewellery should be worn during class, it will be asked to be removed.

All pre-school dancers must wear pink ballet uniform as listed below in Nursery section. Ballet shoes should be worn in every. If your little ones feel the cold CDA hoodies can be ordered or pink ballet wrap around cardigans. Any non-dace school jumpers will be asked to be removed. Hair in a tied up.

Nursery class dancers must wear a pink sleeveless leotard and pink spotted ballet skirt with pink ballet shoes. From Pre-Primary upwards, the girls should wear black leotards, pink ballet tights but no skirts. No leggings to be worn – ballet tights only and PINK ballet shoes. Hair in a bun
